1st UCT Mainz Science Day - 6 September 2018 - Abstract submission now open

The University Medical Center Mainz will host its first UCT Science Day in Mainz on 6 September 2018. Young investigators and established researchers working in different core areas of the UCT (immunotherapy, genetic instability, DNA damage repair & oncogenic signaling, epidemiology & health services research, drug delivery) will have the opportunity to present their research results, either in selected talks or as a poster. The event will also feature a talk by Prof. Margaret Shipp of Harvard Medical School and Dana Faber Cancer Center in Boston, USA. This talk, which is part of the Mildred Scheel Lecture series, is entitled "Targetable Genetic Signatures in Lymphoid Malignancies".

In order to submit an abstract, applicants must fill in the form provided in the download area and send it to inmelzer@uni-mainz.de by 30 June 2018, at the latest. The UCT's scientific committee will review the abstracts and select the talks for different sessions. All posters and talks will be evaluated during the meeting, and the best abstracts will receive an award.

Information about the form of presentation will be send out until the end of July.
